Script Writing

The script is the foundation and most essential step in any animation production. Whether you already have a script or need one crafted from scratch, Malvo Studio is ready to assist you.

3

Story Board

Our team specializes in creating engaging storyboards, whether digital or hand-drawn. We'll develop a detailed sketch that outlines the storyline, ensuring everything is approved by you before moving into production.

4

Animatic

At this stage, the visual team structures the slideshow, seamlessly blending audio and motion visuals. The animatic process combines all frames, providing a clear preview of the final animation.

5

Styleframes

We develop a set of keyframes that align with your brand’s requirements and are crafted based on your brief, giving you a clear and detailed vision of how the final static design will appear.

6

Animation

Using keyframes, this is the stage where we animate and bring the visuals to life, meticulously designing seamless motion graphics and dynamic animations that align perfectly with your project’s vision and goals.

7

Rendering

We render layers into high-resolution images to create your video edits. Before delivery, we review the video to perfect the color grade, add final touches, and enhance its overall quality.

8

Sound

Sound effects are added to enhance the video’s appeal and evoke specific emotions. Music sets the tone, while subtle sounds highlight on-screen actions. The voiceover narrates the story, adding depth and clarity.

FAQ

What services does your studio offer?

At Malvo Studio, we provide a full spectrum of services in the field of 3D animation, motion design, and visual storytelling. Our core expertise lies in creating cinematic 3D visuals, including product animations, abstract CG sequences, branding openers, and immersive experiences for both digital and physical formats (such as projection mapping and installations). We also handle art direction, concept development, lookdev, lighting, simulation (smoke, cloth, particles), compositing, and post-production. Whether you need a standalone animation or a full visual campaign, we craft tailored visuals that elevate your brand identity and leave a memorable impact on your audience.

What is your workflow for 3D animation projects?

Our process is designed to be collaborative, efficient, and adaptable to each project’s needs. We begin with a discovery and briefing phase where we identify your goals, references, and technical specs. Next comes concept development and scripting (if needed), followed by styleframes or a visual direction board to align on the creative vision. Once approved, we move into 3D production — modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and simulations. Every step includes review rounds to ensure alignment. After rendering, we proceed with compositing, grading, sound design, and final delivery. We prioritize clarity and transparency, keeping you updated at every milestone.

How long does it take to create a 3D animation?

Project timelines vary based on complexity, scope, and required deliverables. Simple motion loops or short product shots can be completed in 1–2 weeks, while more elaborate animations involving simulations, character work, or advanced shading/lighting may take 3–6 weeks or longer. We always provide a detailed production schedule upfront, tailored to your brief, and we ensure timely communication in case any adjustments are needed along the way. Speed never comes at the cost of quality — we plan our timing to balance creative depth with realistic deadlines.

What is the cost of 3D animation production?

The cost of a 3D animation depends on many factors — duration, complexity, resolution (HD/4K), level of detail, render time, and number of revisions. We work on both fixed-price packages for clearly defined projects and flexible quotes for more exploratory or experimental work. A typical range starts from $1,500 for a short animated visual and can go up to $10,000+ for high-end commercial-level pieces. We’re always open to discussing budgets and offering scalable solutions that fit your needs without compromising on quality or creativity.

Can I make changes to the project after it has started?

Absolutely — collaboration and feedback are built into our process. We provide multiple review rounds during key stages like styleframes, animation previews, and post-production. Minor edits and refinements are expected and included. If larger revisions are needed that significantly alter the scope (e.g., new scenes, different direction, or major content changes), we’ll provide a clear estimate for the added work. Our goal is to deliver a final result that feels right for you — we value flexibility but also clear boundaries to protect the creative flow and timeline.

What file formats will I receive once the project is complete?

By default, we deliver final animations in high-quality MP4 (H.264 or H.265) or ProRes MOV formats, depending on your platform and publishing needs. Additional deliverables — such as GIFs, stills, vertical crops (for social media), or source footage — can be provided upon request. If you need access to project files (Cinema 4D, Houdini, AE, etc.), we’re happy to share them under a source file licensing agreement. Everything is delivered via secure cloud links with clear organization and documentation for ease of use.

How do you ensure the confidentiality of my project?

Confidentiality is critical, especially when working on unreleased products, campaigns, or confidential client work. We’re happy to sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) and treat all project materials with the utmost privacy. We use secure platforms (Dropbox, Google Drive, or your preferred system) and keep internal access limited only to necessary team members. Your files, feedback, and ideas remain protected throughout the entire collaboration.

How can I start working with your studio?

Getting started is simple. You can reach out via our contact form or directly by email with a short brief or request. We’ll typically reply within 24 hours to schedule a call or send a few follow-up questions to clarify the scope. After that, we’ll prepare a tailored proposal including timelines, deliverables, and cost. Once approved, we move into production — keeping communication open and easy. Whether you're a startup, creative agency, or brand, we aim to make the process smooth, inspiring, and aligned with your vision.

PRODUCTION COST

CALCULATION

We offer the option to request a detailed project evaluation. Once you share your idea and specific requirements, our team will carefully analyze all aspects of the project, including its complexity, duration, and technical details. Based on this information, we will provide you with a comprehensive cost estimate, along with a breakdown of the production stages and timeline. This ensures transparency and helps you better understand the scope and investment required to bring your vision to life.
